About
Art has always come naturally to me. I began younger when my dad and I began setting up an unfinished room in our basement into an ‘art studio’. It was there that I first started to explore my creativity, experimenting with different mediums and creating pieces that reflected various moments of my childhood. Growing up, the only formal art training I had came from my grandmother, Virginia Skipper, a full-time artist herself.
I rediscovered art when a few canvases were gifted to me in college. What started as a way to pass time soon evolved into a part-time hobby—and eventually, my passion. As I continue to grow as an artist, my goal is to capture and express my personal experiences, using my art to document different moments.
